Reflexology & Breast Feeding
If you are struggling with breast feeding, and feel close to giving up, Tiny Toes Therapy can really help. I know from experience how frustrating and upsetting it can be if you are struggling to establish breast feeding - it is not always as straight-forward as many would have us believe.
The problem is the more, frustrated and worked up the baby gets, the more frustrated and upset Mum gets. It then becomes almost impossible to get the baby latched on correctly, and stress of the situation can also prevent the ‘let down’ reflex of the milk. By being in a soothing, supportive and empathetic environment, as well as experiencing the deep relaxation that reflexology gives it can be much easier to just ‘let go’, it can ease the pressure that you are inevitably putting yourself under. When you are calm your baby tends to follow suit, and when your baby is calm and relaxed it is much more likely to latch on correctly and effectively.
